Josh Reddick feels totally locked-in offensively right now for A's
So far in 2015, the Oakland A's have been struggling - but outfielder Josh Reddick has been flourishing.
After collecting four more hits and a home run in the A's 9-2 win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night, Reddick told the A's TV crew that he's impressed with himself at the moment:
He expanded on that thought to Matt Kawahara of the Sacramento Bee, admitting that "This is probably the best I’ve swung the bat for the longest period of time every in my life in professional baseball." Reddick continued: "Consistency, driving the ball, getting my average up is something I wanted to focus on this year. And it’s been coming all together for me right now."
That new focus is paying off: so far, Reddick has a slash line of .346/.424/.587 and has driven in 25 runs to go along with six homers. If he can keep this up, it'll really help the A's for the rest of the season.
