Is Stephen Vogt the real 'face' of the Oakland A's?

Sean Doolittle has a funky beard and mid-90s velocity. Sonny Gray has a youthful demeanor and ace material on the mound. Coco Crisp, when healthy, is a force atop the lineup and used to have his own signature dance.

And yet, is gritty catcher Stephen Vogt the TRUE 'face' of the Oakland A's? That's what Ben Reiter of Sports Illustrated suggests in a new column that really does paint Vogt as the quintessential 'everyman' on a team made up of Billy Beane's newest group of castoffs, unproven talents and diamonds in the rough.
