Outfielder Travis Buck has signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians that includes an invitation to spring training.

Buck has spent four seasons with the Oakland Athletics.

The 27-year-old, who has been slowed by injuries over the past three seasons, is a career .250 hitter and has not made an error in 170 games. He has been in Oakland's opening-day lineup each of the past three seasons.

As a rookie in 2007, Buck batted .288 with seven homers and 34 RBIs in 82 games. He finished second among AL rookies in slugging percentage and triples, and third in on-base percentage.
