SAN FRANCISCO (AP) Madison Bumgarner has a no-hitter through six innings for the San Francisco Giants against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Bumgarner already has a season-high 12 strikeouts and has retired 18 of the 19 batters he's faced. It's the 29th time in his career that the Giants lefty has fanned 10 or more in a game. He's thrown 86 pitches.

Arizona's only baserunner came with two outs in the fifth when right fielder Gregor Blanco dropped Jake Lamb's flyball. Blanco was shaded toward center and appeared to get a late break but got under the ball before it hit his glove and bounced out.
