Felix Hernandez to make 1st spring start Monday

AL Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez will make his first start of the exhibition season on Monday against the Oakland Athletics.

The Seattle Mariners star has thrown live batting practice and a simulated game so far in spring training. The right-hander was 13-12 last season with a 2.27 ERA.

Hernandez didn't pitch in a Cactus League game last year until March 14.
