Doolittle discusses timeline for rejoining A's bullpen in new chat

The Oakland A's have begun their 2015 season as a bit of an up-and-down team. At 8-12, they've been largely inconsistent thus far on both sides of the field - on the mound and at the plate.

One of the potential reasons they've had some struggles could have to do with the absence of All-Star closer Sean Doolittle, who is still recovering from an offeason rotator cuff tear that has kept him away from duty since early in spring training.

Doolittle appeared on CSN Bay Area this week to update his situation and give somewhat of an idea as to when A's fans might expect him back in the 'pen:

Viewers with sharp eyes might have noticed the Star Wars t-shirt Doolittle wore in the interview.

It's probably not a coincidence he wore that shirt, considering this tweet he sent out last week upon viewing the trailer for the new Star Wars film The Force Awakens:
