Dodgers' Gonzalez scratched from lineup with pinched nerve

DENVER (AP) Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has been scratched from Saturday's starting lineup due to a pinched nerve in his lower back.

Manager Don Mattingly said Gonzalez will also sit out Sunday's game, but he said he does not consider the injury to be serious.

Gonzalez missed two other games this past week because of the pinched nerve.

Despite the nagging injury, Gonzalez has played in 149 of 156 games this season. He leads the team in home runs (28) and RBIs (88) and is hitting .275.
