Brandon League’s rehab assignment is over, and likely so are his days as a Dodger. The team designated him for assignment on Thursday. They now have 10 days to trade, waive or release the 32-year-old right-hander. If the Dodgers cannot find a team to take him, they will owe him the remainder of his $22.5 million contract. He is in the final year of his contract.
League has not pitched this season due to a shoulder injury. He had a 2.57 ERA in 63 innings pitched last season.
