Dodgers' Brett Anderson pitches in wet conditions for third straight outing

On Wednesday night Brett Anderson pitched in wet weather for his third consecutive start. Anderson won a rain-shortened game in Colorado on May 8. Last week his outing was cut short by rare May rain at Dodger Stadium. Wednesday in San Francisco it appeared misty throughout AT&T Park due to some thick fog rolling in off McCovey Cove. It was so thick that Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News was moved to refer to it by it’s proper name -- Karl the Fog.
Anderson commented on his luck with his trademark humor, per the Los Angeles Times:
"If you need some rain, send me there for a couple days and it's bound to happen at this point," he said.
As if Karl the Fog wasn’t making conditions wet enough, the Giants grounds crew seems to have watered-down the dirt so much that it prompted Dodger announcer Vin Scully to make several comments throughout the night on the state of the muddied infield.
