Brandon Beachy will remain a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, as the right-hander has accepted his outright assignment to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Beachy, who was designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster on Thursday after the Dodgers' three-team, 13-player trade with the Braves and Marlins, accepted his assignment after clearing waivers.

The 28-year-old has the option to decline the minor-league assignment since he has acquired three years of major-league service time.

Beachy, who underwent Tommy John surgery in 2013, made two starts for the Dodgers this season. He lasted only four innings in both starts.
