Dodger Blues: GM Colletti on way out after NLDS disappointment?
Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti could be on the way out.
For a team that cost a record $240 million, losing in the National League Division Series might be considered unacceptable and the GM who constructed the roster could lose his job, Bill Plaschke of the LA Times reported.
The Dodgers won the NL West and had home-field advantage for the opening round of the playoffs. Yet they were defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals in four games.
The LA Times reported Dodgers ownership was disappointed in Colletti, who has been the team's GM since 2005.
FOX MLB insider Ken Rosenthal tweeted about the situation.
Feeling among number of #Dodgers people is that GM Colletti is on hot seat, and that ownership has softer spot for Mattingly. We shall see.

If #Dodgers change GMs, Colletti’s replacement presumably would want ability to name his own manager - if not sooner, then later.
