Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Tony Abreu left Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays because of a sprained left wrist.
Abreu was injured tagging out the Blue Jays' Jose Molina at second base in the fifth inning as Molina attempted to stretch a hit into a double. Molina slid hard into Abreu, who immediately hopped around shallow center field in obvious pain holding his left arm.
Abreu was taken out of the game and replaced by Augie Ojeda. Additional tests were to be administered on Abreu during the game.
