Diamondbacks reliever Juan Gutierrez goes on DL

Arizona Diamondbacks reliever Juan Gutierrez was put on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday because of inflammation in his right shoulder and right-hander Zach Kroenke was recalled from Triple-A Reno.

Gutierrez appeared in 20 games for the Diamondbacks and was 0-0 with a 5.40 ERA. He had 23 strikeouts and nine walks.

Kroenke was 4-0 with a 5.64 ERA in eight starts with Reno. He appeared in three games for the Diamondbacks last season, going 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA.
