Daniel Hudson picked up his first win since 2012 following Tommy John surgeries in 2012 and 2013. He pitched two scoreless innings in relief while allowing just one hit on Tuesday. Per MLB.com, Hudson spoke about the significance of the win:

"It puts a little exclamation point on it," Hudson said of the win. "I've already gotten back to what I was, and I feel like that's an accomplishment in and of itself. At the same time, it's a little icing on the cake. It's just a good feeling to get that win for the team, especially late in the ballgame like that, and get out of here on a good note.”

This was Hudson’s 12th outing of the year. The right-hander has mostly been used for one or two innings of relief, but the former starter pitched 3 1-3 innings to start a game on May 10.
