Castillo scratched from Cubs' lineup with illness

The Chicago Cubs have scratched Welington Castillo from the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox because of an illness.

Castillo was scheduled to serve as the designated hitter and bat sixth. Luis Valbuena replaced him.

Castillo, usually a catcher, was batting .270 with two homers and 15 RBIs. Valbuena came in with a .243 average, seven homers and 24 RBIs.
