Cardinals put LHP Reyes on DL, call up RHP Salas

The St. Louis Cardinals have placed left-hander Dennys Reyes on the 15-day disabled list with elbow soreness and recalled right-hander Fernando Salas from Triple-A Memphis.

Salas is 0-0 with a 2.51 ERA in 12 games with St. Louis, allowing four runs - including three homers - in 14 1-3 innings.

Reyes has pitched in 50 games, going 2-1 with a 3.94 ERA in 32 innings.
