The Brewers, seeking help for an unsettled bullpen, are turning to one of their former relievers.
The team announced Wednesday that it had signed right-hander Francisco Rodriguez to a minor league contract.
Rodriguez, 31, will report to the team's spring-training complex in Maryvale, Ariz., and must be assigned within 30 days, the club said.
The Brewers entered Wednesday with a 4.65 ERA, 11th in the 15-team National League. Jim Henderson has replaced John Axford, the team's Opening Day closer.

Milwaukee originally acquired Rodriguez in a trade with the New York Mets in July 2011. He went 2-7 with a 4.38 ERA in 78 games last season. Opponents batted .241/.316/.393 against him.
