Brewers claim Herrera off waivers from Dodgers

The Brewers claimed utilityman Elian Herrera off waivers after he played four games for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.

The move was announced Monday.

Herrera was 2 for 8 in those games with the Dodgers. He has a .251 career batting average with one home run and 17 RBIs in 71 major league games since making his debut in 2012.
