Boston's Ramirez scratched from lineup with sore foot

DETROIT (AP) Boston outfielder Hanley Ramirez was a late scratch from the lineup Saturday night against Detroit because of a sore left foot.

Ramirez was replaced in left field by Alejandro De Aza.

The Red Sox were also expected to be without closer Koji Uehara, who was hit on his throwing arm by a comebacker on the final play of Friday night's win over the Tigers. Boston manager John Farrell says the swelling has gone down some, but he indicated it might be a stretch for Uehara to return this weekend.
