BOSTON (AP) Joe Kelly of the Boston Red Sox is pitching a no-hitter through six innings against the Cleveland Indians.

Kelly came off the disabled list before the game Saturday at Fenway Park. He had been sidelined since April 20 with an impingement in his right shoulder.

The right-hander has three walks and seven strikeouts and has thrown 96 pitches. The Red Sox lead 4-0.

Kelly was helped by a pair of defensive plays from second baseman Dustin Pedroia and first baseman Hanley Ramirez on grounders by Jason Kipnis.

Kelly helped himself with a nice play in the fifth. After loading the bases with walks, he backhanded Chris Gimenez's grounder and fired home for an inning-ending force out.
