Belliard agrees to minor league deal with Yankees

Infielder Ronnie Belliard has agreed to a minor league contract with the New York Yankees.

The 35-year old Belliard hit .216 with two homers and 19 RBIs in 82 games last season for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Belliard also received an invitation to the Yankees' major league spring training camp. He was placed on the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre roster Thursday.
