Baseball world and beyond express appreciation for Ernie Banks
The word "beloved" gets tossed around pretty easily in sports, but sometimes it just fits. Such is the case with Ernie Banks.
When Mr. Cub died on Friday at 83, the social media reaction was swift and heartfelt.
It came from those inside baseball, who had either a personal connection or appreciation for the Hall of Famer.
