Bartolo Colon got into a completely unfair race against Billy Hamilton

During Tuesday night's contest between New York and Cincinnati, Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton tapped a grounder to the right side of the infield setting up a completely unfair footrace between the oldest guy in baseball and the fastest.

Save for a matchup between plodding retired catcher Jose Molina and Rickey Henderson, Colon-Hamilton may represent the most lopsided conceivable race pairing in baseball history. Here it is:

That was a tough play for Mets first baseman Wilmer Flores, who came nearly 40 feet off the bag to scoop the ball, but he didn't give Colon any chance with the throw. It actually might have been pretty close if Flores were able to lead Bartolo.
