Ryan Cook of the Oakland Athletics struck out four Baltimore Orioles in the eighth inning of Friday night's game.
After J.J. Hardy and Nick Markakis struck out to start the inning, Cook threw a wild pitch on Adam Jones' third strike. The ball flew to the backstop and Jones made it to first base.
Cook struck out Matt Wieters on eight pitches for the fourth strikeout and the third out of the inning.
