Are the Cleveland Indians digging an early season hole they can't get out of?
The short answer is "no."
Sure the Indians are 5-9 and currently last place in the AL Central, but as Aaron Rodgers would say, "relax."
While many fans are panicked over the Tribe's rough start, it's important to take a step back, look at the numbers and what their record really means in the grand scheme of a 162-game season.
But that's not the only example. If you look back over the past five years, a number of teams made the playoffs -- some even went on to the World Series -- after a "dreaded" 5-9 start.
Did you know that in 2013 the @Indians started 5-9 only to finish 92-70

So it's time to relax, Indians fans. Don't start jumping ship just yet. It's a long season and 14 games is far too small of a sample size to start abandoning your team.
