Angels get good news on Albert Pujols' wrist after HBP
Los Angeles Angels slugger Albert Pujols left Wednesday night's game early after taking a pitch from Toronto Blue Jays starter Drew Hutchison off the left wrist.
After the HBP, Pujols left the game the following inning, replaced in the lineup by Marc Krauss.
The team's initial diagnosis was just a 'bruise', but team doctors administered tests just to be certain. Thankfully for the Halos, that first assumption was correct:
Looks like the #Angels got good news on Albert Pujols. Jerry Dipoto: "He's OK. Day-to-day with a bruised hand."

#Angels GM Jerry Dipoto added that there are no fractures or broken bones in Albert Pujols' left hand or wrist.

The Angels' offense would take a significant step back if Pujols had suffered a more serious injury, but as of now they seem to have dodged a proverbial bullet.
