AL tops NL for 7th straight year, attendance up

American League teams have topped NL clubs in interleague play for the seventh straight season.
The AL held a 134-118 advantage when this year's matchups ended Sunday.
Interleague games once again drew well, attracting almost 18 percent more fans than other games. Average interleague attendance was about 33,000 per game, an increase of 5,000 over crowds for intraleague games.
