2 fans run on Indians' field, tackled by security

Published Jun. 10, 2010 11:49 p.m. ET

Two fans have run across the field in Cleveland and interrupted the game between the Indians and Boston Red Sox.

One of the young men was wearing a LeBron James jersey. The fans appeared to trailing a stream of powder behind them, perhaps imitating the Cavaliers star. James has a pregame ritual in which he slaps his hands together and blows powder in the air.

The fans jumped over a railing in right field and sprinted to the left-field foul line. One of them slid to the ground as security personnel pursued him, the other tried to get over a wall but was shoved back onto the field. Both men were handcuffed, hustled them into the Indians bullpen and taken out of Progressive Field.
