Colorado defensive back Chidobe Awuzie to return for senior year

Colorado defensive back Chidobe Awuzie, who was named second-team all-conference on Tuesday, announced that he will be returning for his senior season at Colorado.

“Yeah I’m definitely coming back,” Awuzie said, per BSNDenver.com. “I came in with this class, a lot of those guys mean a lot to me. Coach Mac means a lot to me. We have a good thing going, I want to see the progress finish and see us get to the point where we have some success."

Awuzie notched 88 tackles including a team-leading 13 for a loss. He added 10 pass break-ups, 10 third down stops and two interceptions.
