Jamison Crowder - May return before season's endCrowder (ankle) said this week that he's targeting a return to action in late December, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. "It's just all about how I'm feeling at that point an...
ImpactCrowder has been sidelined since breaking his ankle Week 4, which required surgery to insert a plate. He's since been able to resume walking a little less than a month ago and also running on an underwater treadmill for the past two weeks. The next step for Crowder is upgrading to running on an anti-gravity treadmill, with the aim to begin jogging on the field in about "two weeks." The Bills are unlikely to rush him back on the field, especially if they end up landing free-agent wideout Odell Beckham (knee) and otherwise don't suffer any additional losses in the receiving corps. In the end, though, Crowder may make a late-season cameo with a long playoff run potentially on the horizon.

Browns, Raiders among five NFL dark-horse contenders
Marcus Jones - Sees snaps on offense ThursdayJones, who logged three snaps on offense in Thursday's 24-10 loss to the Bills, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, caught both of his targets in the contest for 51 yards and a TD.
ImpactThe 2022 third-rounder, who has also been handling return duties for the Patriots, is officially listed by the team as a defensive back, but as Zack Cox notes, the University of Houston product did see work as a wide receiver in college in addition to playing cornerback and handling kick/punt returns. It remains to be seen if Jones continues to see snaps on offense in the coming weeks, but given how explosive he looked while taking a a screen pass 48 yards for a touchdown Thursday, it wouldn't surprise us to see New England's coach staff look to find ways to get the ball in the versatile rookie's hands more often down the stretch.

Nick Folk - Records four points ThursdayFolk made one of of his two field-goal attempts in Thursday's 24-10 loss to the Bills en route to recording four points in the contest.
ImpactThough 12 games, Folk has racked up 99 points, but of late the veteran kicker's fantasy prospects have been hindered by an inconsistent New England offense. Folk will have an opportunity to bounce back in Week 14, when the Patriots face the 4-8 Cardinals on the road.
