Runner-up Finish at Watkins Glen McDowell finished second in the Go Bowling at the Glen NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International on Sunday afternoon.

Impact McDowell started on the outside pole and battled among the Top 5 much of the day at the New York road course. He would lead 5 laps after the second caution of the day but would soon fall into the clutches of Shane van Gisbergen. McDowell would work his way back forward late and get around Ty Gibbs in the closing laps to secure a strong runner-up finish in the Go Bowling at the Glen. It was just his second Top 5 of the season.
