Federal judge allows Gabehart continue working at Spire so long as he avoids Gibbs-related duties

A federal judge has ruled Chris Gabehart can keep working at Spire Motorsports but only in a role unrelated to work he did as competition director at Joe Gibbs Racing

Fifth-Place at Austin McDowell finished fifth in the DuraMAX Grand Prix NASCAR Cup Series race at Circuit of the Americas on Sunday afternoon.

Impact The Spire Motorsports veteran showed good pace all day at the Austin road circuit. McDowell would start sixth on the grid and lead 5 laps for the day in this 95-lap battle. He would surrender the lead to Tyler Reddick after the final caution of the day and would fade back to fifth-place by the checkered flag. It was McDowell's first Top-5 finish of the season.
