Report: Missouri has suspended Mauk for remainder of the season
The tumultuous 2015 season of Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk has come to a close.
It was announced by the university Sunday morning that Mauk will be suspended for the remainder of the year for disciplinary reasons.
This curiously comes on the heels of his reinstatement. Mauk had been suspended previously for an undetermined amount of time (which ultimately was four weeks). He was then reinstated on Oct. 27, before the ruling was reversed five days later.
At this point, there's no question freshman signal-caller Drew Lock will be the primary option going forward.
