Cameron Dorner - Not much action in win over Rice Dorner reeled in all two targets for 27 yards during Saturday's 56-24 victory versus Rice.
Impact Despite Drew Mestemaker throwing for 469 yards, Dorner didn't have a big day, as his 27 yards were the fewest he's had since Week 5. The senior's touches have dropped a little the past few weeks, as he hasn't had more than three receptions in each of the last three games.

Caleb Hawkins - Another multi-touchdown game in win Hawkins recorded 20 rushes for 97 yards and three touchdowns and gathered in their only target for 12 yards during Saturday's 56-24 victory against Rice.
Impact Hawkins stayed hot this week, finding the end zone three more times after scoring five touchdowns last week and four the week before. The true freshman now has 12 touchdowns in the last three weeks and has recorded over 100 all-purpose yards in each of those games as well.

Drew Mestemaker - Nearly perfect against Rice Mestemaker completed 19 of 23 passes for 469 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 56-24 victory against Rice. He also had two rushes for one yard with one touchdown.
Impact Mestemaker had another fantastic performance this week, as North Texas kept its playoff hopes alive. The freshman threw for 469 yards on only 19 completions and tallied three touchdown passes. He now has 31 total touchdowns on the season and only four interceptions in his first season as the starter.
