Impact McCown underwent surgery this offseason that prevented him from participating all spring. The star gunslinger, who tossed for 2,995 yards, 30 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season while completing 68 percent of his passes, is expected to be a full go for fall camp, however, which will be a huge boost to the Roadrunners' offense's offseason development. McCown projects as one of the better G6 quarterbacks next fall.

Owen McCown - Still recovering, doing some work McCown (undisclosed) is recovering from offseason surgery but doing at least some work during UTSA's spring practice, Greg Luca of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Impact McCown used this offseason to undergo some type of surgery for the long-term. Though it is still affecting him as of Monday, he is progressing well, considering his limited participation in UTSA's first day for spring practice. It remains unknown whether or not the camp will include a fully healthy McCown, who has until April 25 before the Roadrunners take another breather.

Impact For 2025, McCuin's latest touchdown is his eighth. Compared to 2024, the wide receiver was much healthier in 2025, and it showed. McCuin logged only one DNP, and his 12 games feature 65 receptions (on 97 targets) for 726 yards and eight touchdowns, all career-highs.

Patrick Overmyer - Logs another touchdown Overmyer posted two receptions (on seven targets) for 50 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 57-20 victory against Florida International.

Impact Overmyer, a tight end, finished his 2025 season with six touchdowns, half of them logged across UTSA's last two games. During the year, he recorded 27 receptions (on 47 targets) for 344 yards. Overmyer's 2025 season indicates that his 2024 campaign was not a fluke, and he can be relied upon as one of college football's top TEs moving forward.

Will Henderson III - Records three touchdowns Henderson accrued 14 rushes for 59 yards and two touchdowns and hauled in their only target for 40 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 57-20 win versus Florida International.

Impact For the first and only time in 2025, Henderson logged several touchdowns. During the year, he recorded 125 rushing attempts for 866 yards (6.9 averaged per carry) and six touchdowns. Henderson fell only two yards short of 1,000 all-purpose yards, with his 19 receptions for 132 yards and another two TDs. Regardless, it is safe to say that Henderson broke out significantly, establishing himself as a top rusher in the American Conference.
