Impact Baylor Hayes (knee) is out, so Tulsa's quarterback position temporarily needs a QB1, and with Williams second on the team's QB chart, he will be under center Saturday. This is a great opportunity for Williams to shine, and though he would have very little room for error to even sniff a chance at replacing Hayes, excelling against an FCS team like Texas A&M-Commerce presents him with a fantastic opportunity. Back in 2025, with Kennesaw State, Williams logged 67 completed passes for 787 yards and six touchdowns. He also ran pretty well, averaging 3.7 yards across 41 attempts for 153 yards and three touchdowns.
