Conner Harrell - Moving without brace Harrell (leg) is practicing without a lower-body brace, Hunter Bailey of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Impact Because of a leg injury, Harrell was ruled out for UNC-Charlotte's 2025 season. Fast-forward to March, with him back for Charlotte, and he is able to make some solid movements in spring camp. Harrell has not been seen practicing at a rapid pace or initiating contact, so there may still be some work to do, but it looks like his previous injury is more of a past problem.

Impact Pedro will make the switch from Southeast Missouri State to Charlotte as he approaches his senior season. The 6-foot pass catcher logged 65 receptions for 814 yards and four touchdowns in the 2025 campaign, surpassing 800 yards in back-to-back seasons with the RedHawks.

Impact Williams will join up with the 49ers as he plays out his final year of collegiate eligibility. In the past two seasons, the 5-foot-7 running back played for Cincinnati, where he logged 29 rushes for 102 yards and one touchdown.

Impact For what is expected to be Gonzales' last season, he will enroll at a non-P4 college. As of his signing, the quarterback's primary competition includes both Conner Harrell (leg) and Grayson Loftis, experienced QBs that UNC Charlotte recently used during 2025.
