Impact Olson will not only miss Friday's clash against USF, but the wideout won't return at all in the rest of the campaign. Olson finishes the year with only two catches on six targets for 56 yards. His absence means Miles Burris, Sean Brown and KD Gibson could be in line for more targets and touches going forward.

Impact Rutledge only saw action in one game this season, tallying two carries for 11 yards against North Carolina in Week 2. The tailback's lower body injury persisted, however, to the point where the 49ers have elected to shut him down for the season. CJ Stokes and Rod Gainey should continue to spearhead Charlotte's backfield moving forward, with Cameren Smith possibly seeing more action in Rutledge's stead.

Impact Harrell suffered a leg injury in Week 4, four games into UNC Charlotte's 2025 season. Because the redshirt junior has played fewer than five games this season, perhaps he can apply for a medical redshirt that can help him maintain his current year of collegiate eligibility. On the statistical side, Harrell completed two-thirds of 96 pass attempts for 737 yards and a 4-2 TD-INT ratio. He also logged two rushing touchdowns, finishing 2025 with a career-high six TDs.
