Villanova’s Stokes remains out with turf toe

Villanova senior guard Corey Stokes will miss his third straight

game because of a turf toe injury on his left foot.

The Wildcats’ second-leading scorer at 14.6 points per game

missed Saturday’s game against DePaul after sitting out against

Pittsburgh and Seton Hall.

He was injured in the second half of the 77-76 loss to Rutgers

on Feb. 9.

Stokes is second in the nation in free throw shooting at 93.5

percent (72 of 77).
