Eagles' Chip Kelly has full confidence in Mark Sanchez

The Philadelphia Eagles may be forced to turn to Mark Sanchez at quarterback, and head coach Chip Kelly has kept the faith that Sanchez can help the team win games.

"I feel very confident in Mark Sanchez," Kelly said after the Eagles' Week 10 loss to the Miami Dolphins, per The Morning Call.

"Sanchez graded out well," Kelly said. "Obviously the interception was a big down for him, but I think he made some other plays. The throw he made to Zach Ertz … where he avoided the rush, stepped up the pocket, that was a good play. We ran a naked [bootleg] once where the defensive end didn't bite. He came underneath and he made a real good pass to Brent Celek. He did a good job on the sideline throw to DeMarco Murray when he escaped the pocket and then took it down the sideline.

"So I thought there were some good plays in there but obviously one he'd like back."

Kelly was last referring to the interception Sanchez threw at the end of the fourth quarter as the Eagles attempted to mount a comeback drive. Sanchez showed the ability to move the ball in 2014, but he struggled with turnovers as well. If he can protect the football, the Eagles' offense will be fine in Bradford's absence, for however long that might be.
