Bears promote safety Demontre Hurst from practice squad

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) The Chicago Bears have promoted safety Demontre Hurst from the practice squad and placed WR Marquess Wilson to the reserve/injured list because of a foot injury.

Hurst has appeared in 18 games over two seasons with the Bears, with 35 tackles, one interception, one pass break-up and one forced fumble. He has added nine tackles on special teams.

Wilson has appeared in 28 games over three seasons with the Bears, starting 13 games, with 47 receptions for 617 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bears host Washington on Sunday.
