Petition launched to have Lions' passports revoked after London trip

Published Oct. 12, 2015 4:32 p.m. ET

Things are pretty grim in Detroit after the Lions suffered an embarrassing 42-17 home beatdown to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in a game that saw the benching of quarterback Matthew Stafford and a lot of empty seats.

"When we win, we all win together -- the city, as an organization, as a state," Tate said. "When we lose, we all lose together. And today, I felt like, at times, our fan base kind of turned their back on us."

The petition, which has only 58 signatures so far, states simply, "Finally a solution to the plaguing Detroit Lions problem."

Just be careful what you wish for, Lions fans.
