Texans' Johnson, Bengals' Smith inactive

Texans receiver Andre Johnson is inactive for a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday because of an injured left hamstring.

Johnson hurt the hamstring during a 17-10 win over Atlanta a week earlier. Coach Gary Kubiak said during the week that the injury was mild. Johnson didn't practice during the week.

Johnson missed six games earlier in the season with an injured right hamstring that required minor surgery.

The Bengals are missing right tackle Andre Smith, who hurt his left ankle during a 35-7 loss to Pittsburgh a week earlier. Defensive end Carlos Dunlap also missed his third straight game with a hamstring injury.
