Report: Justin Houston (knee) could miss the rest of 2015
The Kansas City Chiefs may need to learn how to generate a playoff pass rush without linebacker Justin Houston.
The All-Pro pass rusher's season is reportedly in jeopardy due to a lingering knee issue he suffered in Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills. He hasn't been on the field since.
Via NFL Media's Rand Getlin:
Visiting a renowned knee surgeon like Dr. James Andrews is deflating news. Houston just inked a long-term deal this season, and the team was banking on his skills for a deep postseason push.
Instead, they'll need to rely on old veteran Tamba Hali -- and replacement Dee Ford -- to generate something like the pressure they would've had with Houston healthy.
I’m told #Chiefs LB Justin Houston was set to visit Dr. Andrews regarding his knee. Some fear he’ll miss the rest of the regular season.
