An NFL player changed his wedding plans when his dog wasn't allowed in

Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Jeremy Zuttah and his wife Heran Haile have a pit bull named Ace.

They got Ace when they were students at Rutgers almost a decade ago and he's become such a central part of their family that the couple changed their recent wedding plans on the fly when they learned he wouldn't be allowed to attend.

Zuttah and Haile were originally going to get married at City Hall, but Ace wasn't allowed there so they instead opted for another venue for their wedding last month where the dog was allowed inside.

Not only was Ace allowed in, but he participated in the wedding by wearing a doggy tuxedo and walking down the aisle.

Zuttah was drafted in 2008 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and during his journey through the NFL, he and and Haile have become passionate about dog adoption. Zuttah helped convince Ravens rookie Ronnie Stanley to adopt a dog rather than buy one recently.

“Ace has changed my life,” Heran told Bark Post. “Honestly, all I want to do is win the Powerball and free all the dogs.”
