Was Andrew Bogut just complimenting Steve Kerr or also insulting Mark Jackson?
Andrew Bogut took what many are interpreting as a shot at Mark Jackson when talking about Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.
Kerr is a rookie coach who led the Dubs to the best record in the league and a spot in the NBA Finals. When talking about his head coach Friday, Bogut complimented Kerr in an interesting way.
“Whenever you get a head coach who’s not full of himself, it makes a huge difference,” Bogut said via Bay Area News Group’s Jimmy Durkin.
Some say that Bogut was merely talking about a positive coaching trait of Kerr, while many others believe that was an indirect shot at Jackson, who led the team the previous three seasons before being fired last year.
Bogut’s remarks were vague enough where he could plausibly deny throwing shade at his former coach, but remember when Bogut took a shot at Jackson in April?
