Warriors' Ezeli mixes up Peyton and Eli Manning in congratulatory Super Bowl 50 tweet

Following the Denver Broncos' 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 -- possibly Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning's final game -- Golden State Warriors backup center Festus Ezeli sent out a congratulatory tweet to the winning quarterback.
But he mixed up Peyton with his younger brother, Eli Manning, the New York Giants' quarterback:
Last night, @Festus Ezeli was Shaqtin a Fool on Twitter pic.twitter.com/QDnR0y8Aqp
— Mike Goldfarb (@Shaqtin_A_Fool) February 8, 2016
Whoops.
Ezeli quickly deleted the tweet and apologized, but the damage had already been done. His tweet had already been screen-grabbed to forever live on the Internet:
In Ezeli's defense, he was about to undergo knee surgery on Monday, so it's understandable why his mind would be elsewhere and he might mistake the Manning brothers, who are now each two-time Super Bowl winners.
Poor Festus. At least he was a good sport about it.
