Wall: Player egos will influence Players Choice Awards, 'probably' won't vote

Several months ago, when Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant opined that NBA players should have their own awards where they themselves can vote, it might have seemed as if the reigning NBA MVP was just blowing off steam. But now the NBA Players Choice Awards are going to be a real, honest-to-goodness thing. So Durant and his star brethren are probably over the moon, right?

Well, don't count John Wall in that happy group. The Washington Wizards point guard says that he probably won't even participate in the awards themselves, since he's not convinced the awards will be as cut-and-dried as many might have envisioned:

This isn't the first time that Durant and Wall have been on opposite sides of an issue that involves the NBA media this season. As you might recall, Wall stood up for the media after Durant criticized the press in February.
