Veteran Gomes waived by Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have waived forward Ryan Gomes using the NBA's amnesty provision.

He averaged 2.3 points and 13.3 minutes in 32 games last season in a diminished role on the team.

Gomes was in his second season with the Clippers after previously playing for Minnesota and Boston.
