Tyson Chandler and the Suns didn't need much time to agree on a deal

Even though the Phoenix Suns missed out on LaMarcus Aldridge, they still signed another of their primary target sin Tyson Chandler. Before the deal was announced, there had been little if any news of the team's interest in Chandler, or vice versa. Yet when the two sides sat down just hours after the start of free agency, it took very little time at all for the courtship to turn into a promise. Here's what Ryan McDonough told Matt Petersen of Suns.com:
"We were able to get him to come by the hotel pretty quickly, probably a couple hours after free agency started. Once we sat across the table from he and his wife, talked about the deal and then talked to his agent about it, it all got done pretty quickly."
