Tom Thibodeau is upset that Derrick Rose isn't getting calls, free throws

Here we go, folks: The Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers are knotted up at 1-1, after a 106-91 smattering of the Bulls in Ohio last night. Chicago was out of this one from the get-go, but their coach feels they had at least one unfair disadvantage working against them in the contest.

Namely, the officiating of Derrick Rose's penetrations into the lane. Rose, his coach feels, is not getting the calls that a superstar of his stature ought to get. The point guard has yet to shoot a free throw in the series.

"I guess he's got to go harder, I don't know," Thibodeau said after the game. "It looks like there's a lot of contact to me. Obviously, others don't see it that way."

Thibodeau's thinly veiled jab at the referees is probably murky enough to keep him from getting a fine, but direct enough for the refs to hear his message. Chicago had an especially difficult time manufacturing easy offense in the loss, and will likely need some action from Derrick at the charity line to make more hay in Game 3, Friday night in the Windy City.
